Mikuni Folsom

The Main Menu at the Folsom Mikuni restaurant is large, very large. It starts with Small Plates, like the Shrooms and ribs, then Noodles in Soup, Nigiri and Sashimi, Speciality Handrolls, Mikuni Maki Rolls, Non-Raw Rolls, Salads, Greens, Veggie Rolls and Plates from Our Kitchen.

Mikuni Folsom, the newest addition to the Mikuni family of restaurants, boasts an energy that complements the ambiance and lifestyle of the area. Folsom is an active community with a strong emphasis on sports and recreation, and our goal in creating this space was to capture that spirit.

Folsom’s outdoorsy vibe is truly reflected in our restaurant, which features a large patio in front for the ultimate in casual dining. A state-of-the-art, slatted roof automatically adjusts to the angle of the sun, so guests can comfortably enjoy their meals in the shade or filtered light. Even the finest sushi tastes better when the atmosphere is designed to delight, and that’s precisely what you can expect at this lively Folsom Japanese restaurant and sushi bar.

Review from Yelp
My son told me that we must order their tuna slider 2. OMG it was one of the best sushi items I have ever eaten in my life. We also ordered the incredible roll and the train wreck roll. All were scrumptious.

This is a huge restaurant with inside, outside and a lot of sushi bar seating. They seated us right away although almost the entire restaurant was full. Great service. Nice alcohol selection. Would definitely return.

Here prior to a concert at The Harris Center. Not too busy so we were seated right away. Way too hot for outside seating. Booth for us was perfect.

Jordan was our server. If there is a happier server anywhere in town, we’d be shocked. What a bundle of welcoming happiness!

The food really doesn’t need a lot of explanation. There are reasons why this institution is as famous as it is. It’s just freakin great! Oyster shooters, calamari, green beans, the amazing ginger pork and the famous rolls. Just another great experience.
